These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of lakeozarkboatdocks.com (the "Site"), operated by Compass Camper LLC, an Oregon-registered limited liability company doing business as Lake Ozark Boat Docks. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Marketing Service, Not a Contractor
Lake Ozark Boat Docks is a marketing and lead generation service. Compass Camper LLC is not a licensed contractor. We do not perform boat dock construction, repair, modification, slip addition, sundeck, roof, or boat lift work. All such work referenced or coordinated through the Site is performed by independent, Ameren-certified dock builders ("Partner Builders") who operate under their own insurance, licensing, and Ameren CDB certification.
2. No Endorsement, No Guarantee
We coordinate introductions between waterfront property owners and Partner Builders. We do not warrant, guarantee, or endorse any specific Partner Builder. Any quote, contract, scope of work, warranty, or completed project is solely between you and the Partner Builder you choose to engage.
We do not guarantee that any specific Partner Builder is available at any given time. We do not guarantee project pricing, timeline, or outcome. All such commitments come from the Partner Builder you contract with directly.
3. Information Accuracy
Cost ranges, permit timelines, regulatory references, and other content on the Site are provided for general informational purposes only. They are based on 2026 Lake of the Ozarks market data, publicly available Ameren Missouri program information, and our own research. Pricing varies by cove, water depth, design, materials, and Ameren permit requirements. Always confirm specific details with your Partner Builder and Ameren Missouri before relying on any figure.
4. Quote Requests and Communications
When you submit a quote request, you agree to be contacted by us and by one or more Partner Builders for the purpose of scheduling your free consultation. The terms of that communication are described in our Privacy Policy. You may opt out of communications at any time.
Submitting a form does not create a contract with us or any Partner Builder. A contract for dock work only exists when you sign a written agreement directly with a Partner Builder.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by Compass Camper LLC or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Site content without prior written permission.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Submit false or misleading information through any form.
- Attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, security, or availability.
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect content from the Site by automated means without our prior written consent.

The Site may link to third-party websites, including Ameren Missouri, USGS, and Missouri Department of Insurance pages. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sites.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Compass Camper LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, your communications with any Partner Builder, or any work performed by a Partner Builder. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Site shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
Liability for dock work performed by a Partner Builder is solely the responsibility of that Partner Builder, who maintains independent insurance for that purpose.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Compass Camper LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
